Save Time + Eat Better with Green BEAN Delivery St. Louis

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go to our local farmer’s market, Goshen Market in Edwardsville. I love the opportunity to buy local, fresh produce, as well as organic produce. Unfortunately, this summer I’ve had other priorities on Saturday mornings so I haven’t made it to the market nearly enough. That’s why I jumped at the opportunity for a free small produce from Green BEAN Delivery. Fresh, organic produce delivered right to my door? I was in!

Here’s how it works. Green BEAN Delivery brings organic and all-natural foods sourced from Midwest farmers and artisans whenever possible directly to local consumers’ homes. The company’s network of local farmers and artisans—and year round service—gives members a healthy alternative to conventional grocery stores, while supporting local farmers and artisans.

To get started, you simply go the website and create an account. Then you can select the produce bin of your choice and delivery frequency (weekly or biweekly). You can even add local dairy, meats, bread and other grocery products, which means even more time savings / fewer trips to the grocery store.

All products are all-natural and free of additives and preservatives, which is a plus if you don’t live near a health food store, or don’t have a farmer’s market in your neighborhood. The minimum delivery order is $35, which will get you a small produce bin which includes variety of organic fruits and vegetables. This produce bin is designed for 2-3 people. For the most part though, it was great for my family of four. (The only thing that there really wasn’t enough of for us was potatoes.)

The Medium Fruit and Vegetable Bin is $42.00 which, according to the website, is great for a family of four or a couple of veggie enthusiasts. The Large Fruit and Vegetable Bin at $49.00 is designed for a large family looking for a diverse and healthy diet.

The delivery date for my town is Friday. What a terrific way to start off the weekend, with a bin of fresh fruits and veggies on your front porch – and you don’t even have to leave home to get them! Our bin was loaded with organic broccoli, organic local potatoes, an organic red onion, 4 organic Pluots (which I had never had before and were really yummy), 5 organic Bartlett pears, 2 local organic tomatoes, organic red raspberries, organic basic, 1 pound of organic grapes (which were to-die-for delicious) and 1 local organic Bibb lettuce. I was really impressed by the quality of the produce and the packaging was great. Everything was chilled and in great shape when it arrived on our porch.
